Approach to Mental Health Care
Dr Geheran takes a considered and structured approach to assessment, with a strong emphasis on understanding each person’s unique circumstances before developing a shared and practical treatment plan. Treatment is individualised and may include medication where appropriate, alongside psychological strategies and coordination with other clinicians. He works closely with GPs, psychologists, and other supports to ensure continuity of care. His aim is to provide respectful, tailored support that helps patients build insight, stability, and practical strategies for recovery. He also has an interest in how lifestyle factors — including sleep, physical activity, and nutrition — influence mental health, particularly in supporting recovery and long-term stability. His style is calm, direct, and pragmatic. He aims to provide clarity, reduce uncertainty, and support patients in making steady progress.
